Each Black Widow Briefcase is identified by a unique serial number.
Serial numbers BW-001, BW-002, BW-003 and BW-004 are permanently retained in the Carbonikon archive and will not be offered for sale.
Collector examples belong to the Founding Series, comprising serial numbers BW-005 through BW-010.
Style -Technology -Practicality
The Black Widow in carbon fiber was born from our idea of creating a unique, refined product that would leave no room for compromise.
It is the result of months of research and design — from hand‑drawn sketches to 3D modeling, and numerous molds and prototypes that allowed us to achieve the perfect shape; processes that required a very long and meticulous development time.
Its construction — both the carbon fiber work and the leather or Alcantara® interiors — is entirely handmade. Every briefcase we produce passes through the skilled hands of our artisans; the only CNC‑controlled processes are applied exclusively to the metal components. Our attaché case is crafted exclusively in our workshops in Italy, here in Rome, with extreme care and attention to detail.
Every Black Widow has its own serial number certifying its uniqueness. Its design is a perfect balance between the classic briefcase and a modern style, with a clean, linear shape that does not sacrifice internal space with overly pronounced curves. Its distinctive and ultra‑light carbon fiber handle — a protected design — together with its lid stays, also made of carbon fiber, represents an excellence of engineering design: a form that is not merely aesthetic, but conceived for maximum functionality.
Aerospace Technology
Ultra lightweight and durable
Its structure is made of autoclave‑cured prepreg carbon fiber, processed under high pressure, vacuum, and controlled temperature. It was designed and is built using the same technology employed in aircraft, Formula One cars, and America’s Cup racing yachts.
Thanks to its carbon fiber and aerospace‑grade honeycomb sandwich structure, its strength‑to‑weight ratio has been pushed to the highest level. Its innovative handle also contributes to keeping the overall weight extremely low.
For these reasons, our attaché case is likely the lightest in its category; the weight of its complete structure — including all lightweight alloy components and the locks — is only 840 grams.
Its total weight with the leather interior is approximately 1.6 kg (3.53 lb), while with the Alcantara® interior it is only about 1.2 (2.65 lb) kg.
Compared to standard briefcases, which on average weigh between 2.5 and 2.7 kg, our case weighs about 1 kg (2.20 lb) less in the leather‑interior version and about 1.4 kg (3.09 lb) less with the Alcantara® interior. This makes a significant difference in use, even after just a few minutes.
Ultimately, our Black Widow — fully loaded with the items you need to carry — weighs the same as, or even less than, a traditional empty attaché case.
